  • Update Regarding the Nassau County Small Business Assistance Grant Program

    At the beginning of this month, Nassau County established the Small Business Assistance Grant Program to help local businesses that were financially affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Today, the Board of County Commission voted to expand the eligibility requirements to qualify for a grant through this program.

    The key changes to the qualifications are as follows:

    ·     You must have been in business for more than 1 year (previously 3 years)

    ·     You must have earned $2 million or less in gross annual income for 2019 (previously $1 million)

    ·     You must have 19 or fewer full-time equivalent employees (previously 9 or fewer)

    Applications are now being accepted between Friday, August 21st through

    Monday, August 31st.
